Pardon me while I cry.

Russia Today blocked me after I wrote several Pro-Ukraine articles. I wear it as a badge of honor. And in the interim, I continue to see Russian propaganda accounts everywhere.

Many of you don’t know what it looks like. The propaganda is chameleon-like, and much more clever than, “Russia Good — West Bad”.

One of their slickest strategies

You would have never known.

The user was @iamtyrajackson. She had no prior activity. And in 2019, Tyra posted a viral, heartwarming tweet that took over Twitter:

Before all was said and done, more than 60,000 users retweeted it, putting the post in front of millions. And it was all part of Russia’s Internet Research Agency (trolls).

More plainly, Tyra was likely a Russian man (or woman) working near St. Petersburg. The goal of the meme was to build a following and…
