Agreed! There was going to be a movie with Chadwick Bosemon. It was announced in early 2019 and it didn't go through, for obvious reasons. It would have been amazing.

I never expected to be writing all of these stories about slavery (I feel a little weird doing it as a blonde white dude) but, behind all the tragedy, there's so much crazy history and they always have the best underdog stories.
