I’ve found that 80–90% of the time — if you are constantly questioning your standing, it tends not to end where you want it to. Forgive the morbid analogy, but it is sort of like the fling has cancer. It is eventually bound to die, so you have to just enjoy it while it lasts and savor the experience as best you can.

An enjoyable read. Romance novels are where all the money is. Maybe it’s time to jump ship :)
