I think as long as a professor is teaching within the realm of his subject matter, he should be given a ton of freedom in a classroom setting. What he says outside of class is fine. But I don't think he should be discussing gender unless it relates to the class. Also, I think he resigned from teaching, didn't he? Even though I disagree with Jordan on a number of things, I still lean towards free speech moreso.
