Interesting news. I think really ironing down what is and isn’t clickbait in the eyes of the boosting program would help so that content creators can pivot their strategy to better accommodate these changes.
Many of us have been doing things a specific way for years now and were, in many ways, shaped by the old system of Medium. So being able to adapt and thrive in this new program will take some adjusting on our part.
I think just continuing to communicate (as your team has, which is appreciated) and providing guidance on that front would help. After that, it will be on us writers to do our job.
