I’m not a hyper-political person.

I can enjoy content by authors I disagree with. But Jordan has made it increasingly difficult in recent months.

His return to Twitter caused an immediate firestorm. He feels this continuing need to comment on women’s bodies — with the subtlety of a brick through a window:

You have to wonder why celebrities throw themselves into these topics.

It’s idiotic.

Or is it? The thing is — if you can strip away his wacky political and social commentaries, Jordan is a good writer. He’s highly articulate and can structure an argument.

Which is part of the problem.

During his talks, he dresses up his points in fancy phrasing, and makes highly inflammatory comments that sound smart and justified to his fans. He often surrounds his points with platitudes and psychobabble.
