My reason for not mentioning it is simply one of brevity. I don’t have time to cover everything. And I wanted this article to be very focused on one thing.

I’ll say this: my ex-wife (who left me) is now marrying a wealthy man who is 20 years older than her.

This is my opinion on the matter:

Call it trading up. I call it self-selecting out. The type of woman who just “upgrades” is not the type of woman you want to be marrying anyways. That’s shallow, superficial logic.

I’m not bitter about my ex-wife at all. That upgrade mentality isn’t conducive to long-term happiness. And, as a man, being afraid of it is only going to foster insecurity. Just do your own thing and conquer your own goals.
